Friday 27th September 2013-
St James Palace: As a young ambassador of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, I was given the opportunity to share my experiences, volunteering and qualifications achieved. This was in front of many potential investors, London Duke of Edinburgh’s office staff and HRH the Countess of Wessex. It was a very scary, especially during the Q & A however, I was glad I still went to speak.
After there was a Champagne & Canapés even on the Wednesday 2nd October at Investec offices. This was a celebration for women in business over 10 years and I spoke how the award scheme will make me more employable. I also met many business owners, lawyers, doctors, and HRH the Earl and Countess of Wessex. The Champagne and the canapés were gorgeous!

Gambia! Friday 25th October – Friday 1st November
I have also been given the opportunity to visit Gambia to support a ‘Bikes and Bytes’ project run through the DofE. This will be with a school where a bike and a computer project is being initiated to help support students in Gamia. Computers have been shipped out and we will be setting up an IT room. As I eventually want to persue a career in midwifery I hope to visit a hospital on my visit. I will be reporting back on my adventure – watch this space! 
