The AS Certificate consists of three Units:
Unit 1: Communication and Employability Skills for IT (Compulsory)
Unit 2: Computer Systems (Compulsory)
Optional Unit: An optional unit from the specification based on learners interests
The A2 Subsidiary Diploma also consists of three optional units, which are dependent on your interests and knowledge. Other units have included: Web design, Client Side Website Customisation, Databases and Security. The course is very flexible, and includes a work experience placement to help develop your understanding of how ICT is applied in the workplace.
